Captured in Dunedin.  Thousands of Starlings & a few Sparrows gather at dusk.  Starting with a single bird lift off, they all follow in coordinated patterns to roost.

The images were given the Highest ever score in the NZ Professional Iris awards 2021 for Nature and was included in the folio for winning the Nature Professional Photographer of the Year 2021.
