When Winter starts, it always feels like a mixture of excitement and wonder as to what the weather is going to throw at us!  The light is always stunning and as long as we rug up well, we can go out and capture some amazing local scenes like this one.  This is only 5 minutes from home on the Otago Peninsula.

Some couples wonder what it is like getting married in Winter?  For one thing it is usually less expensive as key dates are usually booked up in the warmer months.  Couples can choose their wedding venues with so much more ease.  Also there are more vendors available like hair, makeup and of course wedding photogrpahers have more availability.  

Couple do need to be a bit more well planned tho, take an extra warm jacket with them to pop on in between their creative locations, but it also allows for some stunning scenes and doesnt take as long but mulled wine or a hot toddy in a flask is so much fun!  We also choose locations that have a stunning look and you dont need to take a long time out in the elements!  More fun to cuddle your loved one too! .. ;-D
