Absolutely thrilled to be announced as the 2025 Wedding Photographer of the Year!

It was such a privilege to stand alongside three other incredibly talented finalists for this title.  The NZ Institute of Professional Photography runs an outstanding award system that's open to all professional photographers across the country.  Typically, finalists are selected from the live judging at the Iris Awards.  The highest-scoring portfolios across all the countries' entries, (usually 3 finalists, this year 4)! ... And from these, the images are rejudged anonymously by a panel of 5 judges to determine the winner.  No one, not even the judges, knows the outcome until the announcement, so it truly is nail-biting on the night of the awards ceremony!
I've been honoured to be a finalist for this award a few times in the past, but I've never quite managed to take out the top title .. so 2025 delivered!
I'm beyond grateful to my AMAZING couples who trust me with capturing their wedding day and allow me to share their images!  Without you, I wouldn't have the opportunity to showcase the work I love so much.
