Well... this is the slightly awkward part where I have to talk about myself.
I'm much more comfortable behind the camera, capturing real couples, real moments, and wedding days that feel like you.
I live on the Otago Peninsula, (about 15 minutes from Dunedin) with my hubby Gavin and our Collie Tess. I absolutely thrive on weddings - every single one is different, and I love leaning into whatever makes your day uniquely yours.
Now, a couple of things I'm pretty stoked about...
I was named 2025 NZ Wedding Photographer of the Year, and in 2024 made the Top Ten Photographers in the Photographic World Cup - which still feels a bit surreal to be honest!
Along the way, I've been lucky enough to run workshops and speak at events like the NZ Photo Show, covering everything from helping clients feel relaxed in front of the camera, to genres like Nature, and ICM (Intentional Camera Movement). I'm accredited with NZIPP in both Weddings and Fine Art, and in 2023 was awarded my Grand Master distinction. I also judge awards like the NZ Iris Awards, and Asia Pacific Awards - which basically means I'm always looking at ways to push things creatively.
I don't sit still creatively for long. I love trying new techniques, chasing great light, and capturing those little in-between moments that often end up being the favourites. You might notice there's a bit of variety in my website - that's very intentional!
Outside of weddings, Gavin and I run a commercial window cleaning business (and yes - I used to be the one dangling off ropes :-D!). We've also recently built an Airbnb designed especially for brides getting ready and for graduation weekends.
Honestly, I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do - Being trusted to capture one of the biggest days of your life is something I'll never take for granted.
